It IS possible after all to have addictions that are good for your health! What I am referring to here is coffee and tea. *Okay, okay, addiction with moderate consumption. Haha!*
Check out these cute DIY His & Hers Sharpie Mugs I did last year as per instructions of ABM. *Hands down, the best crafty blog out there!* Oh, and I also love collecting cute cups!!! *Not pictured here, long story short, my not so cutsie puppy bit through the camera lens of my cell, and I was too lazy/mad to take out my real camera.*
Usually, I have one or the other at least once a day. However, I think the winter and the cold have finally caught up with me, so I’ve been having a long Nespresso espresso *sounds funny to me for some strange reason* in the morning, and a cup or two of tea throughout the day over the past few weeks.
I like to switch up the tea according to my mood. Some of my recent favorites are: Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Jasmine, and Mint.
One of my best friends, Emma, once introduced me to the proper high tea experience. It was DELIGHTFUL! I felt like her Majesty the Queen herself *a tiny bit of exaggeration here*: drinking high quality tea out of fine china cups and munching on a great assortment of finger sandwiches, scones and fine pastries.
*I MISS MY BEST FRIEND!!!! Just FYI, she left me and lives in Toronto now… SAD FACE!*
*This picture was not taken during our Royal Delight Afternoon Tea haha!*

What are some of your healthy addictions? Are you more of a coffee drinker or tea lover?

I like my coffee white, meaning, a drop of coffee and a litter of milk.
I like my teas cold, I love tea, whenever I travel I look for what the locals have. Some weird mixtures of local fruits and leaves.
As for healthy addictions, I don’t know if it can be considered an addiction, but I cannot start my day without a big glass of water, is the first thing I do when I wake up. Grab my bottle of water and chug it all.
Ahahaha! I guess they would call it latte. Well, almost! 😉 Drinking a glass of water when I way cup is the addiction that I’d love to acquire! xoxo
I love green tea! I drink loose leaf green tea every day, usually with a squeeze of lime and one cup of coffee in the morning with breakfast 🙂
Loose tea is the best! I remember my trip to SF. My friend and I went to China town and came across this awesome store with a huge variety of teas and prices (some were over $1000). I had my best tea tasting at that place. Oh how I wish I could go back! xoxo
PS. I love my tea with a squeeze of lemon juice too!
I haven’t drank coffee in almost 4 years, but I will very occasionally have a some tea. It’s not that I don’t like it, but I had to stop because I would get such bad headaches if I missed my morning coffee, that I knew I had to make a change.
Oh, poor you! Definitely, you have to do what makes sense for you! In my case, I don’t drink coffee to wake up, it was used to be that way long long ago, but then I did exactly the same thing as you. It definitely worked. So now I drink for the enjoyment of it. xoxo
I have a latte every morning and often another in the afternoon. For me, it is a very soothing ritual as I arrive and work and begin to immerse myself in things. I don’t think that level of caffeine is too harmful, but even if it is, I enjoy the ritual enough that it would be worth a small negative addictive impact.
This is so true! I think it’s a ritual to me too, I enjoy the process of making it and then sipping while reading a book or watching TV. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog!

Love these coffee cups! And you, of course. And my black coffee with a little chocolate soy milk!
❤
I’m definitely a tea drinker, I love my morning cup of earl grey tea with almond milk. Yum!
Earl grey will almond milk rules! I also like to drink my black tea (not earl grey though in this particular case) with a slice of lemon. Yum!
I adore both coffee and tea!!! I am definitely a coffee addict but in moderation, I usually have half a cup every day.
Mmmmm… Tea… I need some now lol! xoxo
Haha I was just telling my husband that I’m totally not addicted to coffee and can stop at any time. Meanwhile I didn’t have my usual cup today and have felt like crap all day! I’m now laying here trying not to fall asleep while reading blogs. Ugh. Looks like coffee wins. At least this article makes me feel better about giving in to my addiction!
Oh no! Don’t fall asleep! :d I was used to be the same way, but then I started switching it up a little to become less dependent on it and to drink it for pleasure and not to wake up. You can do it, Kristen! 🙂 Thank you so much for stopping by my blog!
