So today’s post is a little bit out of the left field. I have a revelation: I’m in love with scarves. Yup, scarves!!!
Okay, that’s not exactly how I wear my scarves. But, hey, whatever floats your boat! Haha!
When Justin and I went to Italy 3 years ago, I was blown away.
I mean, how could I not?! Ahaha! *Just kidding! But those statues were, let’s just say, a great bonus!*
The architecture was spectacular, people – welcoming, food – delicious. However, if I said that Italian women wore their scarves as a piece of jewelry, that would be an understatement. They wear it as if it was a piece of art! And let me tell you, even though I love scarves, I am pretty clueless as to how to wear them. *I know! It doesn’t even make sense! RIDICULOUS!*
Also as some of you may or may not know, spring in Canada is non-existent. One moment, it’s winter.
The next – full blown summer.
*LOL!!!*
That being said, I want to make the most of it, even if only for a week. Check ça! *Look, I went all French Quebecer on you!*
Any other scarf addicts out there? What’s your favorite way to wear a scarf?
xoxo

Very cute post and I adore every single picture!! Amazing!! I love scarves, too!! My sister makes some pretty cool scarves so I adore finding new ways to wear them!! Thank you!! I love all of these wonderful ideas!! So cool!!
You’re very welcome as always!!! xoxo
Ok, this is too funny!
When I studied abroad in Florence in the dead heat of summer, I also acquired an undying love of scarves!
Linen scarves in the summer are fabulous! Tie them around your purse for a pop of color and use as a shawl in the air conditioning!
Whenever I wear scarves, people always as how I tie it. The truth is it’s the only way I know how! The guy at the market in Florence who I bought my scarves from insisted I wear them a certain way haha.
There must have been magic involved in his way of tying a scarf hehe! I haven’t seen how you wear your scarves, but now I’m dying to know lol! xoxo
Ooh! Me too! And I love spring because it is scarf (and not coat) weather! Love this how-to infographic!
Thank you, Laura! You’re so nice! ❤ xoxo
I love this info on scarves. I always want to wear them. I buy them and then don’t wear them because all I can think of is to wrap it around my neck. Great ideas!
Hehe! Glad to be of help! ❤
I wore them when I was living in France for fashion reasons but then in England for practical reasons (it’s always windy!) but I’m so boring with how I style it…the same every time!
High five, sista! haha!
You two are so cute! I always wear scarves to work even in the summer. I actually have a pile of winter scarves, spring scarves and summer scarves..it’s a problem. They just complete the outfit and keep the neck area warm 🙂
It’s so cool! Me too, I’ve got plenty of scarves, my problem is with creativity though haha!
I don’t wear scarves very creatively but I envy the people who can do all those cool styles and twisty things.
Welcome to my world haha!
I love scarves! And you’re right – European women wear them so elegantly! I usually just drape mine, no elaborate knots or anything. I wear them year-round though, and just use ones with floatier material in the summer (even though it’s Texas!).
I saw this one girl today who draped her scarf around shoulders. It looked absolutely adorable AND cozy!!!! xoxo
Oo! I loved this post! Hilarious Canada winter pic and great ways to wear scarves! I used to wear my scarf as a belt in Japan. I had to because I’d go out in the morning and it’d be all cold (Spring) and by the afternoon it was lovely but I had a scarf so I’d use it as a belt. I got the idea from seeing so many people there doing that. It was so convenient! And cute too. 😉 I like the idea of tying it around the head though to keep hair back. I may have to try that sometime.
DO it!!!! 😀
Absolutely YES and I just saved that graphic at the end of your post forever. I LOVE the idea of using one of my scarves as a handle for one of my bags! That is so cool!
Thank you for all the wonderful suggestions, my friend! xo
Hehe! I am super happy that this can be useful for you. Scarves are fun, but only when you know what to do with them 😀 xoxo
LOL LOVE that you went all French Quebecer on us ❤ I am addicted to scarves too, but have no idea how to wear them!! Thank you for the suggestions!
Anytime! ❤
I can never have too many scarves or too many ways to wear them! I nominated you for a Liebster award on my blog today! 🙂 http://babybluestorunningshoes.blogspot.com/2014/04/liebster-award.html
