Good morning, beauties!
Today’s post will be rather short and sweet. And here is my motivation:
Here is a back story.
Even though it was super hot and humid yesterday, I decided to go outside for my lunch break and read a book. I just love being outdoors and I’ll take heat over staying indoors from 8.30 am till 5 pm.
What you may not know is that I work in a very beautiful part of Montreal, Old Port. Needless to say, every walk is really a treat on its own. However, I didn’t have to walk far to see a large group of people doing yoga with an instructor, just like that. How awesome is this?!?! I was literally freaking out from jealousy. All I wanted to do is strip off my corporate outfit and dive into yoga with them. It’s be so awesome to go for a lunch break and do… YOGA! Outside! This is on my to do list now. I MUST FIND OUT! I mean, sign me up right this moment, HELLO?!?!
Since today is my rest day, I decided to have a nice yoga workout… preferably outside. Hehe!
The following 20-minute Yoga flow for detox and digestion seems to be fitting as to what my body really needs and CRAVES right now.
And, of course, don’t forget the bear crawl challenge!!! *wink, wink*

This sounds so nice. I have been so lazy lately when it comes to yoga. I really need to add it back in.

Yoga during lunch break sounds perfect! I don’t squeeze a workout in during my lunch hour. I usually just enjoy a nice lunch with my coworker and chat it up for 30 minutes lol. But I do try to get an early morning workout in so that I already start my day off right and try to workout after work as well. I work right by Central Park, so my coworker and I are planning a day to stay after work and run in the park!

We offer yoga during lunch at our office, which is awesome because it’s a little out of town so there isn’t much time to leave and go home. Also the classes are only 40 minutes so you can change. Perfect!

You should have gone over and asked someone 🙂 Sounds great … all of it – reading, walking, etc … I always end up in meetings or whatever during mid-day, and we are fairly isolated so I would need to drive for a fun area to walk (ok, only a few miles, but … )
It was a class and I didn’t want to interrupt anyone. Plus they were doing some sort of pose that it’d be pretty awkward lol! I’ll get my answer anyway 🙂
I am usually ravenous during lunch, so even though I have the option, I haven’t taken the opportunity yet. I usually try to get my workouts in before work and then yoga in after work 2x a week. But, like Paris, yoga is always a good idea.
That is awesome! I would totally do this if I ever saw it going on. I think any form of exercise is better when it’s done outside.
Absolutely YES! My new favorite yoga class is during my lunch break 3 times a week and I’ve been making it my mission to go at least twice. (Although this week it will only be once because of the holiday.) I love how much it centers me and makes the rest of my day seem not so terrible. 🙂 I DO wish it was outside though!
It’s definitely nice to break up the day and focus on something good and relaxing for once 🙂
I’ve done that yoga video before! It’s really refreshing. I normally try to do yoga during my lunch breaks just to destress and stretch out some.
I work from home, so working out during my lunch break is not an issue. I love doing outdoor yoga too, it is so much more relaxing.

I love the idea of working out during lunch!! Such a fab, healthy thing to do!! I work from home, so I do find myself doing yoga at home around lunch!! It really wakes me up and makes me feel sooo alive and strong for the rest of the day!! XOXO!!
Nice! You shoulda totally joined in! I do workout at lunch most days. It’s too hot right now to run, but I’ll go to the gym. I work around it by eating my lunch at my desk as I do some work. Would go crazy without it!
I love this idea! Thanks for sharing! After I get settled in at my new job I’m definitely going to see about incorporating a workout during lunch to break up the day 🙂
We went to a market for a family day on Saturday and saw that they had a free exercise class going on outside. Looked something like kickboxing but one of those new fad workouts like P90X or Insanity or something. I so wished I could join in but I wasn’t dressed for it, like, at all and I had my son and hubby with me so it would’ve been impossible. But it looked so fun!
That excitement is totally contagious!
