Today is a very very special day in my family. It is my mommy’s 50th Birthday!
Words can’t describe how much I love her! It will probably sound strange or maybe not at all, but I love her so much more after I became a mom myself. There is something truly magical about watching your parents interact with your own child. I mean, I’ve always known that they loved me very much, but seeing them in action with Sofia is heartwarming and nothing short of remarkable. As they say, eyes don’t lie. And all I can see is an endless ocean of love.
Today I reflect on my own childhood and my parents’ love for me and my brother… We are so blessed with so many great memories! And I am so happy that my parents are so young and full of energy and that we have so many more wonderful memories ahead of us!
On this note, I would like to wish my mommy, my hero, strong health, never ending happiness and laughter! I love you!

Oh I just ADORE this post … so cute all the pictures! “Guess How Much I Love You” was a total favorite that we still have on the bookshelf (and when they are toddlers they can read along with you – it is even better!).
I do have to laugh though … because my wife turned 50 last week, but we’re not ready to be grandparents quite yet (with one a senior in high school and the other a freshman in college, I think that is understandable đŸ™‚ ). They look so adorable in that picture. So happy birthday to you mom! đŸ™‚

Happy birthday to your mom! It’s wonderful watching our parents interact with their grandchildren. I never tire of watching my mom laugh and laugh and laugh as she plays with my son. And I have lots of pics of when he was a baby and would sleep all curled up on her boobs. lol She’s very well-endowed. đŸ˜‰
I think this will only strengthen your relationship with your parents. As Sofia grows up, you’ll feel closer and closer to them because you’ll be going through everything that they went through with you. It’s awesome! đŸ˜€
