Being Normal Gets Boring, So I Go Back To Being Me: Very Inspiring Blogger Award

TGIF, y’all! Also, Happy 4th of July to my my American friends!

I am so so ecstatic it’s finally Friday! This weekend is going to be extraordinary, but you’ll have to wait till Monday. #sorrynotsorry

Nevertheless, I have something super exciting to share with you. One of my favorite bloggers, Salt *wait… Her name is Lauren! wink wink!*, from Run Salt Run nominated me for a Very Inspiring Blogger Award. I love her blog and have a tremendous respect for her as an athlete and a mommy. I am so so honored that she even thought of me! *Pinky swear!* You should definitely head over to her blog if you still haven’t done so. She is AWESOME! ❤

veryinspiringblogger

There are a few rules I have to follow:

  • Thank and link to the person who nominated you.
  • List the rules and display the award.
  • Share seven facts about yourself.
  • Nominate 15 other amazing blogs and comment on their posts to let them know they have been nominated.
  • Optional: display the award logo on your blog and follow the blogger who nominated you.

I came up with 7 FUN facts about me, so you have to promise that you won’t blackmail me with any of these! *I am serious! LOL!*

1. When my husband asked me to marry him, I never actually said ‘Yes’.

will you marry me

That’s horrible, right?

It may sound strange, but I really had no clue he was going to propose to me that night. I should have known better because Justin even told me to pack a nice dress and a pair of high heels, when we went to Mont Tremblant for 2 days.

You’ll say it was evident. But listen to this, when we were having supper at this super fancy restaurant, he started asking me about how I would like him to propose to me, whether I’d want to ask my dad first, etc. Obviously, any suspicions that I may have had evaporated. So when Justin stood on his knee, it took me by surprise! I got all emotional and I pretty much forgot to answer the most important question of my life.

Fun fact: I am pretty sure that our waiter thought we broke up. Little does he know! *Haha!*

2. When I am scared something weird happens to my face…

Zip-lining

and body…

Jumping over the fire

First picture

It was the first ever time I went zip-lining. I am not scared of heights or anything, but what got me super worried is the wooden block that is supposed to make you stop. I was going so fast that I had no idea how hard I would hit it… It wasn’t that bad after all. *LOL!*

Second picture

This shot was taken this past weekend. I had it all planned out in my head and was supposed to jump over the fire holding hands with Justin, but it didn’t happen. I made sure to jump up high, smile and look all pretty. It seems that the camera man had another plan for me… He decided to take a shot at the moment I was landing and when my face was in the process of registering the heat from fire. Lesson learned: Keep smiling for 2 seconds after you jump over the fire no matter what it takes.

*PS. It’s okay to laugh at my unfortunate photographs… Go on! Don’t feel bad! LOL!*

3. I almost destroyed someone’s house is Antigua.

ATV tour

On our honeymoon, we decided to go on ATV tour around the island. Two other couples joined in. From what I overheard, it wasn’t their first time driving ATVs. I got all courage I had and pretended to be a big girl who could do it too. Well… It didn’t last long… Not even a minute into it, my ATV swerved and I almost  hit somebody’s house. I am pretty sure that one of the walls would be gone if I indeed hit it!..

Or was it an excuse to hold on to my hubby for the next 3 hours? Hmmm… I guess, you’ll never know. *Wink, wink!*

4. I believe that Monopoly is EVIL.

funny-family-happy-Monopoly-angry

Once during holidays I was naive enough to agree to play Monopoly with Justin’s brother and sister… BIG MISTAKE! I will never play this game again! I swear… You see that girl crying in the corner? It was ME! And that little happy punk was Justin’s little sister who was 13 or 14 at the time… Yes, I was angry with a kid!!! And no, I don’t feel bad, she deserved it! * Love you, sissy!!! Haha!*

5. I was so scared/nervous to introduce my parents to Justin’s parents that I ran away and let them figure it out on their own!

graduation

Justin and I went to the same university (I majored in Finance & Justin – in Accounting), so our convocation took place on the same day; however, his ceremony was in the morning and mine – in the afternoon.

At that point of time, we’d been together for almost 2 years and had established great relationships with each other’s families. Justin’s parents wanted to stay to see me get my diploma too. It doesn’t take much to figure out, our families were bound to meet, which both of us were ready for. Well… kind of! Certainly, my nerves weren’t prepared for that…

What did I do? That’s how it went down: “Hi, mommy and daddy! You look great! Here is Justin with his parents and sister… These are my parents! Oh, so sorry! I already have to go to get ready for the ceremony. See you later! Have fun!!!”

Yup… I’m THAT bad! *Now judge me!*

6. I jumped out of a Jacuzzi and rolled in the snow on 3 different occasions just because someone said I wouldn’t do it.

Rolling in the snow

I was sober and cold. Why would I do this three times? Because whoever was taking pictures couldn’t get a decent shot. It was totally worth it though! Call me a daredevil! *Haha!*

7. I make weird faces when I am bored.

Bored

But don’t we all?!

Here are my nominations *who weren’t yet nominated by somebody else*:

  1. Stamped With a Heart
  2. Run For The Pizza
  3. Abs of Steel
  4. Must Love Jogs
  5. Fueled by LOLz
  6. Running on Healthy
  7. Northern Ambitions
  8. Liveng Proof
  9. Daydreams & Shoestrings
  10. The Gluten-Free Treadmill
  11. Fairytales & Fitness
  12. Life Between the Miles
  13. Runaway Bridal Planner
  14. Mar On the Run
  15. NY Life Supply

Fitness & Happiness: Bringing The Kid Back Out Found Within

Good morning beauties… and beautifuls *LOL!*

As you can see, I am in a great mood, and my trip to the spa yesterday is largely responsible for that!

Spa Diva

I got a 50-minute Swedish massage and it felt great! The masseuse had strong hands *just the way I like it!* and really worked on my shoulders and legs. I was in heaven!

Plus what could be better than a date with a friend that you haven’t seen in a WHILE at the spa?! Girl’s time at its finest!

Everyone deserves a treat every now and then. Even Bella!

Bella's addiction to carrots

Guys!!! She is crazyyyyy about carrots! She’ll do anything for them!

There is something I’d like to discuss with you today. I’ve got a question: What happens to us when we grow up?

Last summer, as I was sitting outside in a square during my lunch break. I saw these two kids. They where having the time of their lives!

be a kid from within

Do you remember being a worry-free kid running and jumping around all day long, climbing trees, falling down, scraping knees and yet getting up laughing and continuing to run? Somehow throughout the years, we tend to lose this ability. Running and jumping becomes a chore or a to-do thing on our daily list. When we ‘fall’, we fall hard. When we get hurt, we tend to shut ourselves off as a defense mechanism.

How about going back to basics and being a kid within again? Not only will this bring in happiness  and enjoyment back into our lives, but also health and success.

i'm too blessed to be stressed

Source

My workout today, as per the Spartan guide, is as follows.

Cross-train: Do this outside.

Jump rope for 10 minutes.
15 walking lunges on each leg
15 push-ups
15 stone deadlifts
Belly-crawl 10 yards
10 stone squat chest-pass (hold the at chest height, squat the stone, then chest pass it as far as possible. Pick up the stone and repeat 10 times)

Repeat the cycle twice.

Super Spartan Run: 4-mile trail tempo run

Warm up 2 miles with a heart rate in zone 2;
Run 4 miles with heart rate in zone 4;
Cool down 2 miles with heart rate in zone 2.

Sweat, Smile & Repeat: 30-Day Spartan Abs Challenge

So you all may be wondering what’s different… Well, it’s June! Summer is here!!! *I know, I know, it officially starts on June 21, but I could care less… OOPS! #sorrynotsorry*

summer is here

Source

But what I am even more excited about is that a new Spartan 30-day challenge is here. *We’ve established my love for them, right?!* For those of you  who are new to these challenges, the goal is fairly simple: “To emerge from the 30/30 a better person on the way to a healthier lifestyle.”

Spartan_Sit-ups_NAS

Source

The task is to do 30 sit-ups for 30 days! It’s that simple!!!

Follow these steps:

Step 1: Lie on your back. Bend your knees and place your feet flat on the floor or mat with your heels 1 foot from your tailbone. Put your fingertips behind your head or cross your arms on your chest.

Step 2: Squeezing your shoulder blades together, tighten your abs and curl up toward your bent knees until you’re in a seated position. Pause.

Step 3: Slowly lower yourself until your back is in contact with the floor. keeping your abs tight. Repeat!

If you find this too difficult you can modify the exercise by reaching your arms in front of you as you curl up.

Source

In addition I’d like to share you the following SEAL Fit Sit-Up Variation in case you’d like to switch it up and work different muscles.

Also, definitely don’t stop at 30 sit-ups per day. If you can do more, go for it! After all, who wouldn’t want to have sexy abs, especially when the summer is here. Make sure to try out this Spartan 500 Ab workout, if you still haven’t done so. You won’t regret it!

Life Is Too Short To Be Serious All The Time (Part 3)

Good morning, you guys!

I hope you had a fantastic weekend! Let’s see what I’ve been busy with?

Lots of time with our baby Bella, who actually turned 7 months old today. *Time flies!*

Walk with Bella

A Saturday breakfast with my hubby at one of our favorite restaurants called Allô! Mon Coco. I love their creative decor *and food*!

Allo mon coco

After a delicious meal, I was full of energy. So I decided to go for a 5.5 km run, followed by this Spartan workout:

*Repeat twice*

50 push-ups
40 leg-lowers
pull-ups to failure *each time I did 15 assisted pull-ups*
40 hanging leg-raises
75 body weight squats (fast, but with good for)

Looks fairly easy, right? Let me tell you, my legs felt it the day after! *Haha!*

Great times with our friends sitting by a fire pit.

by a fire pit

And, of course, weekends are great for experimenting! So why not learn how to walk slack line from my brother?!

slack line

In other words, I had a FUN-FUN-FUN weekend with my hubby, family and friends!

My workout today will include a 5+ km run, followed by this Spartan Cheaper Than Health Care cross-train session:

*Do each of the following for 1 minute*

Mountain climbers
Spiderman push-up
Plank with row
Inverted pull-ups
Medicine ball sit-ups
Squat jumps

Recover for 3 minutes.
Repeat cycle 3 times.

you are on a quest

Source

I would like to proceed with answering questions Rebecca from Flex and Shout Fitness asked when she nominated me for Liebster Award. She is awesome, and I love her adorable blog where she shares some great workouts and laughs with her readers!

Q & A

1. What do you love about fitness? Pick 1.

I love how it makes me feel alive! When I exercise, it seems like I could fly.

alive

Source

2. Where is you favorite place to work out?

I loooove to train outside. It’s so much more fun than working out at a gym. Unfortunately, I do not live in a country where summer is all year long. *Oh, Canada!* That’s why I truly savor every single moment when I get a chance to get out!

3. Do you prefer to workout alone or with a buddy? Why?

Hmmmm… I am really not sure. Most of the times I work out on my own because this way I am not dependent on anyone. However, from time to time, it is great to have company to motivate and push each other to train harder to reach new heights!

4. What’s the best part about where you live?

I absolutely love living in Montreal! I admire its distinct culture, beautiful nature, and proximity of all great things: river, lakes, mountains and parks. On that note, last Friday was a very special day for me. Nine years ago, my family and I moved here to live. I can’t believe how fast time flies, it seems like it was yesterday.

oh Canada

5. What’s your favorite piece of gym equipment?

To be honest, I am intimidated by gym equipment. I like to simplify my workouts, meaning to do exercises that do not require use any fancy pieces of equipment. That being said, I wouldn’t be able to survive without a treadmill *when weather doesn’t permit running outside*, chin-up bar, balance ball, weights *I promise I did try using jars, but it seems too much of an injury hazard haha!* and a foam roller.

6. What’s your guilty pleasure?

You can read more on that here.

7. If you had a million dollars, what would you spend it on first?

I know, I know, everyone is expecting to hear a noble answer here. I’m afraid, I wouldn’t donate it all to a charity. The truth is, I’d probably pay off my mortgage and bring my closest family from Ukraine here, and get my grandma in a great post-stroke care facility. That being said, I would definitely look into giving a portion of funds for a good cause, be it to help finding a cure for cancer or help less fortunate kids in my community.

8. What other windows or tabs are open on your computer right now?

How tricky! I have FacebookPinterest, Gmail, Instagram and PicMonkey. I must tell you, I LOOOOVE PicMonkey. It’s super easy and fun to use to edit pictures *one of my favorite activities, apart from taking pictures*! I used to use Photoshop all the time, but I find that this app is a great tool to get the basic job done quickly.

tabs

9. Apple or PC? Why?

I am more of a PC girl. Why? I’d love to answer that question, but I don’t really have an answer. I guess, I just never bought an Apple computer. For some strange reason, I keep on sticking to VAIO laptops by Sony, and I haven’t been disappointed so far.

10. If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Ummm… Cheesecake? *Haha! Just kidding!* The first thing that came to my mind though is cauliflower. Yumm!

Life Is Too Short To Be Serious All The Time (Part 1)

As I was traveling the world and seemed to forget about the blog world, the blogger world did not forget about me. I am so moved and honored!

Thank you fairy much

Source

To top it off, three beautiful ladies, Jill from Eat Clean. Eat Mean. Live Lean., Michelle from Baby Blues to Running Shoes, and Rebecca from Flex and Shout Fitness, nominated me for Liebster award. Since I was nominated for this award two times already *read more here and here*, which does not diminish in any way how much I appreciate these nominations, I won’t go through the entire thing. However, I’d love to answer all questions which I find is a super fun thing to do. Not to overwhelm you though, I’ll separate them into 3 different posts *I was told, I’m better in small portions. Haha!*.

This brings me to questions from lovely Jill, my fellow Canadian blogger. *READY, SET, GO!*

Q & A

Source

1. What is the one tangible item you can’t live without and why?

This is such an unfair question! I am so indecisive because there are more than one items that I can’t live without!!! *And then you wonder why do I have so much misery packing light for vacation ahaha!*

indecisive

Source

Let me see… I think it would have to be toothpaste. Brushing teeth is the first thing I do every morning, and it would kill me to have a bad breath!

bad breath

Source

But then, I ABSOLUTELY need my camera, mascara and running shoes!!!

 2. What is your guilty pleasure and why?

It would definitely have to be taking a bath with a LUSH bath bomb, having a glass of wine and preferable some candles lit. It is one of the best ways for me to de-stress and relax. I can’t help it!!!

3. Describe your family in one word.

The bestEST!

family

4. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why?

I have a life long battle with procrastination. Any procrastination doctors out there?!

5. What is your dream job?

I honestly have no clue. I have yet to discover it for myself. I’d like my dream job to challenge me in the ways that can help me grow as a person and help others at the same time.

Source

6. Do you ever read your horoscope? Why or why not?

I used to read it, but not anymore. I don’t want others to tell me how I should feel on any given day; my destiny is in MY hands.

7. What cheers you up when you’re sad?

These two pretty faces!

my loves

8. If you could spend one day with a celebrity, who would it be and why?

Hmmmm… How about Dan Brown?! I am a big fan of his! I’d love to pick at his brain and find out about how he comes up with crazy plots for his books. Oh and I’d give anything to get to know when his next book comes out! Haha!

9. Are you an early riser or a night owl?

It’s weird, but I think I’m not either one. I wish I could be an early riser though.

Funny-mornings-for-me

Source

10. If you were entering a talent show, what would be your talent?

I’m good at listening to people. Not really talent show material though. *Or is it nowadays?*

11. Does the future scare or excite you?

It excites me! I can’t wait to find out what the future holds for me.

The Happiness Project, How To Be Organized & De Sena Cross-Train Workout

It’s a HUMP day!

Hump day

Source

I say, what can be better than starting a day with a giggle or two?! That’s right.

I’ve been in a very good mood this week, despite the busyness at work. I guess, it’s a spring effect. The sun has been shining brightly for the past 2 days, and today should be the warmest day of the year so far! And you know what happens when it gets warmer…

spring harvestSource

No, please, don’t get scared away! I don’t have any spring harvesting to do, I simply couldn’t resist putting this picture up. Haha!

By the way, did you have the chance to prank someone yesterday? My colleagues decided to fill up the office of one of my coworkers with 4 big bags of balloons. Can you imagine? Such a brilliant idea!!! It put a big smile on his face.

April Fool's

To top it all off, I started reading a book called The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin. I kept on seeing good reviews for a while, and decided to give it a try.

The happiness project

The timing couldn’t be better, the author pursued a different set of resolutions each month in order to amplify the happiness in her life. So as you can imagine, the chapters are organized by month. Not that you have to follow it, but I decided why not? Extra happiness is always welcome in MY life. *You might remember one of my previous posts that looked into the benefits of laughter and why you should laugh more. If you missed it by any chance, you can read it here.*

laughter

Source

The first chapter is focused on how to boost energy in our lives. The solution is actually pretty straight forward:

  • Go to sleep earlier. *Read more on how to sleep better here*
  • Exercise better: All it takes is to get moving.
  • Toss, restore, organize: my biggest challenge!
  • Tackle nagging task: We all know how great it feels when one of those gets done.
  • Act more energetic: Sometimes we need to work on getting more energy, even if it starts by acting energetic.

Personally, I could improve on all of them. Thus, it wouldn’t hurt to try this Happiness Project out! I’ll try to review each chapter and a new set of resolutions *I prefer to call them goals though* at the beginning of each month. So feel free to join in!

Since organizing is one of my biggest challenges *mostly because of my laziness haha!*, I looked online for some help *as always*. Look what I found!!!

how-to-be-the-most-organized-person-in-the-worldSource

Isn’t it neat?!

My workout for today is as follows.

De Sena (cross-train)

Jump-rope for 10 minutes.
Repeat this cycle twice:
– 15 walking lunges on each leg
– 15 push-ups
– 15 stone deadlifts
– Belly crawl 10 yards
– 10 stone squat chest-pass

Run

Warm up 2 miles with heart rate in zone 2;
Run 4 miles with heart rate in zone 4;
Cool down 2 miles with heart rate in zone 2.

How did your April Fool’s go? Did you prank someone or got pranked? What are your thoughts on the Happiness Project?

Between Us Girls (And Boys): ‘That Time Of The Month’ & Fitness

Sorry, guys, it seems like you were excluded from my post today! Wait… Wait a second!!! Actually, this post might be for you after all. How  come? Well, as the saying goes, happy wife happy life… Haha! So yeah, this could be a great help for you when your significant other is not at her… um… best behavior because of a tremendous pain she is experiencing.

how i feel

Source

*That’s me last morning… TRUE STORY!*

why periods

Source

*Like, really!*

We know really well that crappy feeling of waking up from bad cramps with no energy, in a horrible mood, and probably craving all the wrong things. Going to the gym is definitely the LAST thing on my mind!

However, it seems I got it all wrong! According to Women’s Health,

When you have your period (and the week after), your body is more like a man’s. During this part of your cycle, your levels of the female hormones estrogen and progesterone are at their lowest, making you a little more dudelike—at least metabolically, says Stacy Sims, Ph.D., an exercise physiologist at Stanford University and a leading researcher on the impact of menstruation on athletic performance. […] Her research shows that during this low-hormone phase, women also recover faster and have a higher pain tolerance. Why? “A probable theory is that your body isn’t preoccupied with preparing for a possible pregnancy,” she says. “Your baseline is reset into a more relaxed mode, so these other systems operate optimally.”

*One second girls, gotta keep boys entertained!*

Source

Back to the subject, there are 7 workouts that She Knows suggests to do during your period:

  1. Walking: Active rest is definitely better than nothing. If you’re in a lot of pain, the walk should definitely help you unwind.
  2. Running: As mentioned previously, your body recovers faster during this period *no pun intended lol!* of time. So if you feel up to the challenge, increase your incline!
  3. Yoga: Relaxing seems like a great option! Go for a nice stretch routine and don’t forget to meditate.
  4. Aerobics: I personally love Tabata, so much fun too!
  5. Dancing: Why not make yourself feel sexy? Have you tried dance workouts from Fitnessista?
  6. Planking: Definitely, one of those things that could be done between commercials. If you’d like to diversify your planks, read this post.
  7. Working out from home: Not up for the challenge, take it easy and do this 7-Minute Workout.

Girls, what are your thoughts? Any specific workouts you give preference to?
Guys, share this with your significant others, it could be a life savior for her and for YOU! Haha!

Be Weird, Be Random, Be Who You Are Or 11 Things You Didn’t Know About Me

Good morning, darlings!

A quick follow up on yesterday’s run. It was somewhat tough because my legs were sore from my Sunday’s workout. However, I did manage to run 6.5 km in 37 minutes, which is okay. I SHALL NOT GIVE UP!

tough-runs

Source

Needless to say, my foam roller became my best friend yet again *read here for more foam rolling tips*! Today, thankfully is my rest day, so I will probably do some stretches, nothing major though.

As you most likely remember, I was nominated for the Liebster Award about a month ago. However, when I was nominated again last weekend by She Does Write, I was truly honored and couldn’t decline it. Not to repeat myself, I decided just to answer the questions. I find, it is a great way to provide give you with another glimpse into my life. *For some strange reason, I noticed that I don’t tend to talk about my private life in here that much.*

So there it goes.

1. What is your favorite word or phrase?

The first phrase that came to my mind is…

Be-the-change-You-Want-To-See-in-the-World-Gandhi

Source

2. Dogs, cats, or other–and why?

I am definitely a dog person. It might sound somewhat funny *and RIDICULOUS*, but I am actually scared of cats. Not that I want to run the moment I see one, but I am really afraid that it will scratch me. I think I’ll blame my grandma’s cat who is super cute and WILD at the same time! On the other hand, I’d love to own a tiger! *How confusing!*

As for the dogs, I am a German Shepherd lover. Meet my beloved Sanda who passed away last year.

German Shephed

And here is my little 4.5 months old pest and trouble-maker, Bella:

Bella

3. What was the best part of living where you grew up?

I was born in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Kyiv

When I was little (about 2-3 years old) my parents decided to move to my dad’s home city Cherkasy, where I ended up living for about 13 years of my life. My fondest memories of my childhood are the moments I spent with my family at the beach close to our house, where we would go quite often: in summer – to swim, play soccer and volleyball, and even camp, in winter – to skate and ski.

Dnipro

Dnipro 2
4. What’s the best part of living where you are now?

Montreal is one of the most beautiful cities in the entire world! I might be biased, but my heart belongs here.

The nature is breathtaking.

Montreal - Mont Royal

There are plenty of events happening all year long.

Jardins botaniques

And the architecture is beautiful, and yet not overwhelming: a mix of old and new.

downtown Montreal
5. What was your last dream about?

To be honest, I don’t really recall, but it was something in James Bond style, meaning me running away from someone to stay alive. All jokes aside, that’s how I felt. Haha!

Nightmares

Source
6. Have you ever pranked someone in an epic way?

Okay, so I don’t really remember pranking anybody recently, HOWEVER… I was pranked pretty badly about a year ago by a local show Les Détestables. It is a Montreal’s hidden camera comedy program, where elderly people say or do inappropriate things trying to get a reaction out of innocent people *me!* who do not suspect a thing!

Since the video is in French (Montreal is a bilingual city), here is the translation:

Elderly lady, ‘Excuse me, but I haven’t finished reading… Can you turn the page back?’
Me *clearly shocked*, ‘Excuse me?!?!’
Elderly lady *turning the page of my book*, ‘I stopped reading right here.’

You won’t believe, this encounter lasted for much longer, but they didn’t show it all on TV. What you need to know about me is that I am NOT a rude person. That being said, this situation gave me a pretty intense headache from conflicting emotions and feelings that I had experienced for the rest of the day! Haha!

7. If you could ask your future self anything, what would it be?

How was child labor?! Ahaha! *I am terrified!!! Not that I’m pregnant either! LOL!*

you pushed me out of your whatSource

8. How would you describe your personal style?

I am not sure I understand this question properly, but I am very determined and competitive. Definitely, a good friend and a family person.

9. Have you ever met a celebrity?

Multiple times! My problem though is that I don’t know who they are!

who are you againSource

10. What is your favorite thing to do in downtime?

I love to read, take pictures and edit them!

smelling books

Source

11. What is the last thing you photographed?

I actually took this picture of myself.

nomakeup selfie

Not that I’m one of those girls that loves to constantly take selfies, but I thought the idea behind it was really nice. #nomakeupselfie was done in order to show support and raise breast cancer awareness.

So tell me, do you like these posts where I give you some random facts about myself? What would you like to know about me?

Arms On Fire Workout, Also Find Out Why Sex Is Good For A Healthy Heart

Would you agree with me if I told you that right before summer majority of girls start exercising more in order to have flat stomach, sexy butt, you name it? It all definitely makes sense. However, what I mostly get jealous about *in a NICE way* is nice toned arms. I find that if a girl has a definition to her arms and shoulders it is SUPER freaking sexy!!!

I found a great quick workout on Blogilates, because let’s be honest for a moment, it’s okay to be lazy from time to time! *HAHA!*

Not only this workout is fun, it gets me closer to my ultimate goal: 30+ push ups and 15 pull ups!

By the way, speaking of sexy!

According to the Spartan Race blog, sex is good for your health. Apparently, getting frisky with your significant other can have the following effects on your well-being:

  • Strengthens your immune system,
  • Reduces the risk of heart attacks for men,
  • Helps with blood pressure and weight maintenance,
  • Sex is a great cure for a headache,
  • Heals up wounds,
  • Improves bone density and lowers risk of osteoporosis,
  • Helps to keep your young looks longer!

The following is just for fun and laughs! So don’t take it in a wrong way. It’s Friday after all!

Frankly, my brain is fried, so I wanted to keep today’s post short and sweet… and FUNNY! Because as you may remember, laughter is great for you!

I came across the following infographic. To be honest with you, it seems like it’s gonna be a very healthy Friday for me! Haha! Well, take a look at it for yourself.

Here is the plan:

1. Wake up & have a nice cup of coffee. Actually, I’ll make it a nice Caramel Nespresso Latte! *I know, I know, it’s sugary and stuff, but honestly, guys, I deserved it!*

2. Take a nice shower & make sure to sing extra loud to wake up my hubby! *I’m pretty sure, our beautiful Bella will join me in making noise! After all it’s our 6-monthaversary today!!!*

3. Listen to music on my way to work. *I really hope they will play Lorde’s song. I’M OBSESSED!*

4. People watching on a bus is very often better than comedy! *CHECK!*

5. I’ll make sure to drink enough water at work. *Baby, please, put 2 bottles of water in my lunch bag! Haha!*

6. Make friends? New clients ARE friends… Right?!?! Okay, I’ll just be very friendly with them. *Note to my boss: friendly & PROFESSIONAL!!!*

7. Hmmmm… Dark grape juice…I guess, I’ll just opt for a nice glass of wine after work. *Winner!*

8. I’ll floss! Pinky swear!

9. Well… I’d say it’s TMI! *You really didn’t think I would go into this, did you?! Haha!*

So as you can see, it sounds like a very promising and healthy day for me!!!
